:confused: My Kenmore dishwasher's control panel stopped working totally after working sporadically for about 3 months. Repairman says the part will cost $400 !!! Only paid $399 on sale 8 yrs. ago. The reason it quit is that we had a german roach problem and they decided to nest there. We have had a pest service for 2 years that I've paid $800 to & for that I have buy a new dishwasher!! At any rate I can't seem to narrow down the part to price it. Model number is 665-15899100. Any help?

FlaSunshine :) Just called Sears DIY parts & the part is $119.50 !! Can't wait to tell repairman tomorrow ( he's fixing ice maker- that part was really only $20 I bet instead of the $90.00 he's socking me for-) We will check & see if part is plug in & if so DIY. Also called pest control- manager will call tomorrow - I'll see what his answer is re: service etc.
Next time I'll check more places before I post.
