Model Number: KDC-20 Brand: Kitchen Aid Age: More than 10 years
Dishwasher runs (washes) fine but will not dry.
Timer continues to end of cycle but I do not hear dryer fan running and if open door it is not warm inside--so drying is not operating. Update-- I have now found that the dryer fan housing is hot (very) but I THINK that dryer fan is not turning. (Can't really see in there--but pretty darn sure.) This is about 25 yrs old Kitchenaid dishwasher with mechanical controls---pushbuttons and timer knob you can turn. This happened right after repairman visited and replaced seals at bottom. (He did stop the leak to bsmt.) So I wondered if he left something disconnected. Thanks for your help. Last edited by mike21 : 07-09-2008 at 03:31 PM. |
