Default F Displays in Timer Display
Model Number: SHU5316UC   Brand: Bosch   Age: 5 - 10 years

The letter F is displaying where the time is being displayed, but from my research the F refers to a fill issue. Which can be either the water valve (which is easy to find) or the water sensor or float. Where is the water sensor switch? On the older dishwasher the float looked like a upside down cup in the dishwasher, but my dishwasher doesn't have anything the resembles this, so I'm lost with regards to finding the float or water sensor on this dishwasher. Thanks for the help..

The water level switch and the float switch are located on the left side of the dishwasher. In order to access them the dishwasher has to be removed from the cabinet.

You can find the troubleshooting instructions in the manual posted by Harold, one of the Forum members: bosch dishwasher troubleshoot manual
