My dishwasher just stopped working last night (looks like it died during a rinse cycle). I vacuumed all the water out of the bottom and did not find anything clogging the drain.

Everything seems to be dead, nothing lights up on the control panel (top of the door).

I've checked power to the switch and checked the breaker. Everything up to the dishwasher is okay.

Can anyone give me some guidance on what to check next? I can't seem to find a schematic or a manual on line.

Thanks!

If you're getting power to the dishwasher, the next thing to check would be the door switch. Make sure it actually latches, and check it for continuity.

Done. The door latches securely and the switches show continuity. It has no lights on the console (typically there is one green light) but the control board has power going to it (115V).
Could this be the problem?

What do you recommend next?

Thanks!

I've checked the door switches and have power to the control panel but no lights on the console or functions working. Can anyone provide me with some other areas to check?

Thanks.

I cannot find a parts breakdown for this unit but here is the tech sheet
http://www.servicematters.com/docs/wiring/TechSheets_11_17_09/Tech%20Sheet%20-%20W10142800.pdf

Have you checked the bi-metal (thermal fuse).
Here is a parts breakdown for a GU2455XTST2 see Item 6 in Section 2. Yours may be similar.
Replacement parts for WHIRLPOOL GU2455XTST3 Undercounter Dishwasher | AppliancePartsPros.com

On some units the replacement comes with a small wiring harness which also must be replaced.

If you have power from P4 and P2 Neutral (depends on type of tub type) to P8 and P6 then odds are your control board is shot.
