I would like to know what the timer lever spring - part no. 837 connects to. I assume one end hooks to the detergent timer lever-part no. 861. Where does the other end of the spring connect to?
I found this spring loose in the door panel of a GE Pot Scrubber 940 dishwasher.
Thank you

It connects to a plastic pin which is a part of escutcheon. If this pin is broken off, the whole escutcheon has to be replaced.

- The escutcheon (control panel) Part number: AP2040491
Part number: AP2040491
