Default dishwasher sprayarm problem
Model Number: GSD5500G00WW   Brand: GE   Age: 1 - 5 years

I have a loose upper sprayarm. If I replace the arm itself, will a new one stay put or is there apt to be a problem with the plastic pieces that hold it?

Hi ghcusic

What spray arm are you talking about: the middle spray arm (#618 on the tub & dish racks break down diagram) or the 3rd level spray arm (#570 on the tub & dish racks break down diagram)?

Gene.

Gene,
The sprayarm is for the third level, #570 on the diagram. It falls off with each washing. Have you had this problem before?

Hi ghcusic

I do not remember how this spray arm should be mounted to the dishwasher, but I believe if you buy the new one you'll be able to figure it out. If you'll find it should be screwed then it's possible you have to remove the dishwasher from the cabinet.

- The part number for the new 3rd level spray arm assembly AP3184058

Good luck.
Gene.
