Clean light blinking, reset doesn work
Model Number: GU2400XTPS3 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 5 - 10 years
Hello,
Whirlpool GU2400XTPS3 The clean light is blinking 7 times, then stops then 7 times again. I found the reset sequence and the blinking stopped. I tried to run a new cycle and the DW fills up and then sits, then drains without washing the cycle. I took the wash arm off the inside and cleaned the drain and grinder. There was nothing stopping the grinder from doing its job. I could turn the grinder blade with my finger freely. Put it back together tried to run a cycle and it fills up, sits the drains. I pulled the unit out so I could look behind it and tried again. The motor seems to be excessively hot and does not turn when the wash cycle starts. It tries to, but then it just stops and sits.
