anyone have a thought on a leak on bottom left door of above dw,i think it might be a float switch letting to much water in ????? thanks jim

Were you able to fix your leak?

I have the same problem with a GE dishwasher Model GSD2200Z02WH. Replaced the door gasket did not help (although it did need to be replaced). My next thought is the door vent at the top of the inner door panel.

Check for suds (bubbles) inside the dishwasher during the wash cycle at the time when it's leaking.

Boy it's taken me a long time to get back to this. To answer the last post: It was leaking with or without detergent, with or without dishes. I believe I have finally managed to fix it, however. Here's the story:

I replaced the door gasket - still leaked.

Tore the door apart and saw that the rinse agent reservoir was leaking so replaced that - still leaked.

Replaced the left door baffle since the leak was coming from that side - still leaked.

Pulled the washer out and checked the fill tube - no leak found there.

The leak was clearly coming from the door somewhere.

I'd about given up on finding the source of the leak when I noticed that at the front of the tub where the door closes there are what appear to be a lines left from the mold used to form the tub. The line on the left (the side of the leak) looked different from the right in that it stuck out further. It was very thin at this point but curved away and out from the tub wall. The door seal pushes against these lines when closed.

I trimmed it back with a utility knife so that it was more flush with the tub wall, ran it - no more leaks.

This is not a new machine, manufactured in July 1998, and only recently started leaking. There isn't a break or hole in the tub wall. I can only assume that in the molding the tub material over lapped at this point with a thin layer over the thicker layer that forms the tub wall and that over time the thin layer separated and curled out and prevented the gasket from sealing completely.

Hope my explanation makes sense and is helpful to someone else.
