Default Bosch Dishwasher Will only work on scrub wash cycle.
Model Number: SHU4302US   Brand: Bosch   Age: 5 - 10 years

Our Bosch dishwasher will only start on the SCRUB WASH cycle. The other cycles will not light up. We've tried to restart by depress the on/off button, then depress both POWER SCRUB PLUS and REGULAR WASH buttons at the same time, but those will not light up. The only cycle that lights up is the SCRUB WASH cycle. What is causing this and how do we fix it?

Thank you very much for your help.

Most likely the problem is a bad control module which has to be replaced.

- The part number for the control module is AP2804247

Here are the break down diagrams for the Bosch dishwasher Model SHU4302 UC/06 (FD 7705-7912)

Hi Gene - Thank you so much for the info! Do we need to hire a professional to tackle this job or is it simple enough that we'll be able to tackle it ourselves?

This part is not too difficult to replace yourself. You can find the complete instructions in the file attached to this post.
