My soap dispensor is not working correctly. The door on the soap dispensor will not latch properly. Any suggestions for an easy fix??

If not, i believe I need to replace it with Part Number: AP3776575 made by WHIRLPOOL. I was needing to know how difficult it would be or does a professional need to do it?? Also, is there any place to find step by step directions???
