I think our Sears dishwasher is a Whirlpool (stainless tub, no arms that come up the center, quiet touch). When we run the diswasher, the soap does not dissolve. It looks like it doesn't even get wet. We are using the Costco Cascade packets with the stuff in a dissolvable plastic-looking pouch. It has worked previously. The door to the soap dispenser opens and I get hot water when I run a rinse cycle, so I know that we have water and power. No lights are different than usual and no trouble codes appear. Any ideas of what is wrong? They want $220 several days from now to take a look and we have company coming on Sunday!
