Default Is it hard to install the tube ring and seal on a washer?
Model Number: LA9100XTN1   Brand: Whirlpool   Age: More than 10 years

My washer is broken. The seal for the tube ring fell off (broke in 1/2). I am thinking about replacing it on my own. Is it hard to do? I have never repair or open up an washer or any household item. thanks for the help

This part is not too difficult to replace yourself. The complete instructions on how to take the washer apart will help you.

- The part number for the tub ring seal is AP3040287

Here are the break down diagrams for the Whirlpool washer Model LA9100XTN1

Default candylee - how did it go?

So, how did you come-out with your repair. Any particular problems?
