No Inlet solenoid power when dishwasher is hot.
Model Number: DU940QWDQ5 Brand: Whirlpool Age: More than 10 years
My Whirlpool Model # DU940QWDQ5 will run one cycle, either wash or rinse only, and will drain, but will not run a second inlet cycle . If allowed to cool down, it will again run an inlet cycle. I checked the inlet solenoid for continuity and it was ok. Next, I disconnected the wires to the inlet solenoid, and get no voltage if the dishwasher has been recently run. However, after a cool down period, there is a voltage on the inlet solenoid wires. Can anybody tell me which part I need to replace in order to fix this?
