We purchased a used Bosch shu5315uc 06 dishwasher, which we were assured ran fine. HA! We have replaced the control unit and it will now turn on and begin a wash cycle. The issue now is that the cycle begins, the dishwasher fills with water, then drains, then fills again and then stops. This occurs within the first 6 or so minutes of the cycle. From that point on, the timer continues to count down but nothing happens until we clear it. The water will then drain out.

We have cleaned the visible filters inside but are not sure what to do next. My husband is fairly handy so we may be able to fix this ourselves if we can determine what the likely problem is.

Not knowing how the normal wash cycle works we don't know if what it's doing is even normal and maybe the water is just not heating to the correct temp.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
