Model Number: 587.16254402   Brand: Kenmore   Age: Less than 1 year   
the door will not close and latch without a tremendous force needed to puch the door into a latching postion. Elderly lady does not provide enough force.

Remove the bottom panel. Check the door hinges and the door panel for any damages and/or misalignment.
