Dishwasher will not drain or wash and makes a humming noise
Model Number: DU929PFQB2 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 5 - 10 years
HELP!!! My dishwasher will not drain or wash. I found a broken glass in the dishwasher and I believe a piece fell in the bottom but I can't see it. Can can I take the bottom apart to inspect and clear anything that in blocking it?

How to Take the bottom apart to fix
Please Help! How do I take apart the bottom to open it to fix. I've taken out the bottom rack and looked with a flash light and I dont see any screws to take apart.

Hi Cindy,
Unscrew the lower spray arm cap and remove the spray arm. Remove all screws (#3 on the pump break down diagram) and remove the pump outlet (#14 on the pump break down diagram). Here are the break down diagrams for the Whirlpool dishwasher Model DU929PFGQ2 Gene.
