Model Number: GU980SCGQ0 Brand: Whirlpool Age: More than 10 years
Hi!
I have an older whirlpool dishwasher. The tubing for the sprayer of the upper dishrack became disconnected and ultimatley burned while the washer was on cycle. I purchased a new part, according to the diagram for my model. This part was a "new design". I know how to asseble the parts and attach them properly to the upper rack of the diswasher. The problem that I am having is that with the old connector (the part that connects the sprayer to the rack) was long enough so that while in motion, the sprayer would not hit the rack. But with the new part, it doesn't seem long enough and the sprayer hits the rack. I went back and searched for an extender, but I didn't see one being offered. It's hard to explain, so I hope I made myself clear. Here is my order number 1057641. I purchased two parts, but really only needed the "kit" (Whirlpool 675808). If you can offer any suggestions or help or need clarification, please let me know. Thank you! Ernesto Ads By Google Related Models |
