Help! I got this piece of ##*!!^** Kitchen Aid dishwasher. After just under the warranty period, the user interface went. I called for service, after replacing nearly every component, Finally he replaces the user interface and voilla, it works for two cycles then it went out again, and replaced again. Now six months later, it's out again. Before all cycles could be chosen, but the start would not work, this time it it started doing the same thing, sometimes it would work, others no go. Then the cycle started but it completely died prior to finishing the rinse cycle. Is it the same problem? I checked the control panel and there is 120VAC to it. I was going to just buy a new unit, because this one has given me so many problems, but if I can fix it for under $100, I'll go ahead and do it.

Also, how hard is it to fix the door spring mechanism? It broke after about six months and I've just lived with it. The "repair" guy said it was a pain to repair, but his troubleshooting skills leave me with some doubt.
