Have a broken lid switch. It looks like your part # AP3100003. First, it that a suitable replacement? Second, how easy is it to connect to the control panel?

The lid switch (part number AP3100003) is OEM part made by Whirlpool.

It is pretty simple to connect the new switch electrically - just open the control panel and you'll see how it plugs in. You have to remove the washer cabinet to replace the lid switch and here are the complete instructions "How to remove the washer cabinet".

Here are the break down diagrams for the Kirkland (Whirlpool) washer Model SAWS800MQ0
