Default Bosch not turning on
Model Number: smu4056uc/14   Brand: Bosch   Age: More than 10 years

I know my dishwasher is old but it has always worked perfectly, until now. The on/off button on my dishwasher no longer lights up. Just recently the washer began getting more difficult to start. What I mean by that is: I have to push the on/off button repeatedly to get the washer to turn on. When it turns on the dishes are cleaned perfectly. I can no longer get the dishwasher to turn on.

I called a parts distributor and they recomended replacing the selector switch. Part # 093494. I have been told that part is discontinued. I'm not even sure if this is the right part to replace to fix my problem.
