Default soap dispenser won't open
Model Number: SHY66C05UC-14   Brand: Bosch   Age: 1 - 5 years   
The soap dispenser will not open during wash cycle.
It will open manually, but not electrically.

What's best way to tell if it's soap dispenser or not?

Default Whirlpool DU8950XY-2 Dishwasher
I need to replace the soap dispenser but am unable to remove the top screw. The screw will turn but will not screw out so something is blocking its removal.
I was hoping to drill it out, but don't know what is behind it (hoping it just a area where a screw goes)
I believe this was a factory error as I've never tried to remove this inner door
panel before.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
