We need the model number to see what you have but the door should not fall open. Check springs, hinges, cables etc for damage. Get the model number and we can look up whatever parts you may need.

wire diagram for dish washer
Hello i have a maytag dish washer that was recalled and i got all the new equipment for it and i put it on and it didnt come with a wire diagram for it. Im not sure which wire goes where, like for the dispenser and vent wax motor. if you could help me that would be great. My email address is dragonfly9820@yahoo.com ......... model # MDB7100AWB

dragonfly, I couldn't find a wiring diagram for your model, however there should be one inside the dishwasher. Check: inside the control panel, at the bottom, by the pump, or inside the door.
