Dishwasher touchpad operates inconsistently. At times, it will work perfectly. Other times some of the touch pad keys are dead. For example, when trying to set a timed delay start, the keys are not functional, but I can start a normal cycle immediately.

At times, even normal cycle immediate start key will not function and will only start on heavy cycle.

I am assuming that the likely problem is the touch pad/console (part # AP3044891 in black) and not the electic control panel (part # AP3044855).

Would appreciate any advice from Gene or others.
