problem with dishwasher control board flashing lights

Model Number: GU2400XTPT1 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 1 - 5 years

Ploblem with the control buttons on front of dishwasher. The water seems to turn on and off very quickly, and it seems to be towards the end of the cycle (within the last 5 min.). Could this be some sort of error code? Or could this be an ongoing problem with this make and model?
