I have a Maytag Dishwasher Model# MDBH955AWQ that works sometimes and then won't on occasion. The touchpad has little lights above the buttons that are dim and flicker or are not on at all when the unit is running. Today the Dishwasher will not start at all no matter which buttons are pushed. I have checked the breaker and outlet and both are supplying electricity to the unit. This has been an ongoing problem for the last 2 weeks... What could the issue(s) be? Thanks for your assistance.

The first thing I would do is remove the bottom panel and check the junction box (where the power cord comes in) for loose connection and/or burned wires.

If there is nothing wrong, remove the control panel and check the door switches and wires.

If there is nothing wrong - replace the control board.

- The part number for the door switch is AP3482402
