Brand: -brand- Age: Less than 1 year
Somehow during washing, a sharp knife stuck itself into the dishwasher back wall, point first naturally. The blade went in about 1/2 inch and now we have a slit in the dishwasher. It's leaking water all over the floor. Is there something (grout?) that can patch it? Surely this can't be the first time in history this is happened.... Help.

Some may recommend epoxy and it may work, but from my experience it doesn't. Something like this always turns in to an early Christmas "present" in a form of a new dishwasher. Sorry.
