dirty film after washing

Model Number: GSD2020Z00BB Brand: GE Age: 5 - 10 years

My dishwasher is going on 10 years old and has been a great unit with no complaints until now. Lately after every cycle I've been finding a white residue over all my dishes and I've run dishwasher cleaners through it I even tried a cup of vineger and nothing helps. Yesterday I found that the water isn't very hot when it fills up. Can you tell me what this might be?
