dishwasher not starting

dishwasher not starting

Model Number: DOB1501AWB Brand: Admiral Age: 1 - 5 years

Dishwasher quit starting. If you hold the start button, the lights will shine slightly (wheter door open or closed) If you press the timed start the 2hr 4hr, etc light will light, but the unit never starts.

I did get it to start once, by tapping the start button hard. Nothing since.
