Dishwasher Repair

The door latch does not close on Dishwasher. I took off Control Panel and removed the latch to inspect. It is made of three seperate interconnecting parts-all plastic. None appear broken? Is there something else that is stopping the door latch from closing? I'm thinking I might just order the replacement parts and go from there. Is there something I'm missing?

I could not find any useful info on this so I would try the following.
Check the latch strike attached to the frame to ensure it is not bent etc.
Try attaching the latch only to the strike perhaps this will show what is causing it not to latch.
