I have a loud squeeling noise that sounds loudest at the motor. Sounds like a bearing. was woundering if there was any other parts in that area that could cause the noise to travel through the motor.

The first thing I would do is check for a foreign objects in the pump.

Remove the bottom spray arm by turning the glass trap (#66 on the pump & motor assemble break down diagram) for 90° in any direction and pulling it up together with the filters.

Remove the impeller cover (#10 on the pump & motor assemble break down diagram) and check for a foreign objects.

I have model FDB636GFS1. I had a sudden squeeling in the motor area that turned out to be a cracked plastic part of the pump assembly which fits on the splined shaft of the motor, might want to check the impeller to see if it is turning when you hold the motor still.
