Bosch dishwasher never empties, uses same water
Model Number: she55m06uc Brand: Bosch Age: Less than 1 year
I'm waiting to hear back from my vendor, who is supposed to cover this under the 1-year warranty for refurbs, but if there is something I can do in the meantime to get it going, I'd appreciate it.
My Bosch was working fine for the first 4 days I was using it. All of the cycles normal, everything filling/draining like it should.
Now all of a sudden, it will not drain. It uses the same old crappy water for every cycle. It never fills with new water because it's already full.
If I pull the washer out and fiddle with the "hey, there's a leak!" float that is in the base, I can make a slight hum start - which I'll assume is the sound of a drain pump turning on.. but nothing actually happens.
Is there a relay somewhere which could be screwy? Looking at all of the similar types of posts online, I will anticipate some of your questions:
1. New install to a new sink. From the air gap, it connects directly into a T for one of the sinks. This T is clear.
Hmm.... actually that's the only thing I can anticipate right now. I look forward to any suggestions or comments. I'm really bummed that this has failed - first dishwasher in over 5 years and I was starting to get used to it already!
