Motor does not work when I start timer, when I turn timer to spin mode it intermitently runs, burning smell comes from machine when turning on. I removed belt and same thing occurs. I removed motor and wire connector and ohmed out wires, read the following: white to orange .1 ohm, white to red open, white to yellow 1.4 ohms, white to purple 2.5 ohms, white to black open. There is no wiring diagram with my manuals so I'm not sure what wires do what. I read an old thread, the thread had similar problem but problem turned out to be a bad timer. Before I purchase a new motor, I want to be sure. Please help, Thanks-Steve
