WhirlPool dishwasher lower arm part came off

Lower arm part came off my "WP-Quiet Partner 1" , I'm not sure why it came off but I did have no water coming from the top end of the dish washer arms, my question is .. does anyone know what this part fits into and why it would fall off/loosened up , looks like it would fit into some kind of compression bearing valve that spins? Do I need a new part or is it just a matter of tightening something that came loose? Please help
