My top load Maytag stackable washer will not spin. This happened to me once before , I changed a fuse and started working again. When it stopped this time I checked the fuse again and it is good. What could it be?

Along with checking the fuse, I would also check the lid switch ... If the lid switch fails your washer will not spin

The lid does shut off the water off when in wash or when filling up????
