Model Number: 665.16012402 Brand: Kenmore Age: 1 - 5 years
I have a 2005 Kenmore Ultra Wash dishwasher that is not working. The " clean" light on the control panel is flashing. It flashes 7 times then pauses. Could this be a fault code of some sort? I went to the troubleshooting section of my use and care guide, and it said that the machine had malfunctioned and to check the heater circuit. I looked inside the tub and found a melted plastic part on the heater element. I tested the heater and it is ok. 10.9 ohms. I checked the termostat and its ok. It shows an open circuit. There is no high temp termostat or thermal fuse that I can find on this machine. The only other tub sensor I find on this machine is a "Thermister", and my repair manual does not cover this part. I guess my machine is to new to be covered by this repair manual. I need some test data for a "Termister", part #8269208, and any other repair sugestions you may have.
Thanks in advance for any help you can give. Fiver Lee Ads By Google Related Models |
