Default New Control Panel Needed
Model Number: GU980SCGBC   Brand: Whirlpool   Age: 5 - 10 years

Well, the repair guy came by and said the GU980SCGBC needs a new control panel. The dryer cycles over and over, and won't shut off automatically. Then, he says the control panel repair is $300. So, I look on your site and see one for $90 or so. If I buy it, and it is not the right one, can I return it for a full refund?

Is this the cause of the problem, and will a AP3136031 likely fix it?

Fred

Default Return procedures and policies

Cancellations & Returns -- AppliancePartsPros.com

We do not allow electrical parts to be returned once installed. If the part is installed and doesnt fix the problem it is not returnable. It is your responsibility to be sure you have a proper diagnosis.

These are our polocies on returns, I will let Gene help you if he can with the diagnosis.

Before we proceed with the troubleshooting I need more specific description of the problem.
