humming coming from the bottom of system
Model Number: Maytag Quiet series 300 Brand: Maytag Age: 1 - 5 years
got a loud humming coming from the bottom of the dishwasher, Motor is running so it's something else, any have this type of issue?

Hi ahchitski,
Can you describe the humming? Might be a few things. For example, no water's entering the dishwasher tub and the pump is working on empty; maybe a foreign object got inside the pump (piece of glass for example); or maybe one of the two impellers broke. Post the dishwasher model number (open the door and look at the tag) and provide more details if possible.
