Default Hotpoint Dishwasher
Model Number: HDA100X.66wh   Brand: Hotpoint   Age: 5 - 10 years

The rod that is between the motor and the top of the motor is leaking.

How do I fix that?

Can I just replace the rod?

Thanks

Gene has much to be proud of
Default

Most likely the water is coming out due to broken seals in the pump.

You can replace the seals on the old pump or replace the whole pump & motor assembly.

In both cases the dishwasher has to be removed from the cabinet.

- The part number for the impeller and seal kit is AP631386

- The part number for the pump & motor assembly is AP2616850

Both parts are coming with the installation instructions.

Here are the break down diagrams for the Hotpoint dishwasher Model HDA100X-66WH

Gene.
