Model Number: PDW8280J01SS Brand: GE Age: 5 - 10 years
My heating element corroded through on one side so the dishes wouldn't dry. I replaced the element but still have no heat to the element. I tested continuity and resistance on the new element and they test good. I don't have a wiring diagram. The heating element is wired to the control module asm and what appears to be a transformer on the pump drain asm. All other functions on the dishwasher work fine. Could the pump drain asm have anything to do with this problem or is this a bad control module asm? I owuld rather not buy a new control module asm if there may be another source of this problem. Thanks in advance for any help.
