Default Confirming Part for Whirlpool Quiet Partner II
Brand: Whirlpool   Age: 1 - 5 years

Trying to confirm that I have found the correct part for my dishwasher before ordering it.

I read a number of other posts and ran the tests. I have (non-professionally, of course) determined that my drain pump is to blame for my problems.

I have a Whirlpool Quiet Partner II. The numbers that I find on the inner part of the unit that I believe one or the other is the model number are as follows.

Imperial / DUL200PKQ1 / 8268470

Trying to determine if this ( Part Number: AP3133590 ) is the correct part that I need to order.

Please help.

I love the magic of the internet!

Thank you!

What is the original problem with your dishwasher?

Gene.

Dishes are not getting rinsed properly causing spotting and film. Water comes into the system just fine, but does not drain properly at the end of the cycle. Once the wash is completed, there is standing water in the bottom of the tub.

The first thing I would check is the air gap on top of the sink (if any).

Remove the cover from the air gap, remove the top piece and check for clog.

Remove the drain hose from the air gap or wherever it is connected, put the end of the drain hose in a bucket, run the drain cycle and look for any foreign objects coming out.

If this is not the issue, then remove the bottom panel, remove water from the dishwasher, disconnect the drain hose from the check valve (#15 on the pump & motor break down diagram) and remove the check valve (turn CCW).

Inspect the check valve for a clog.

Here are the break down diagrams for the Whirlpool dishwasher Model DUL200PKQ1

Gene.

P.S. There is no drain pump in your dishwasher.
