Third time in five years, the control panel has gone out.
Any problems on grounding, etc. Is there a recall on this dishwasher

It is for a leaking rinse aid reservoir. The rinse aid leaks down onto the wires and causes problems.

When you say gone out do you mean that it is totally dead?
As other problems can exhibit this symptom re: door switches.

As far as I know no. Perhaps someone else has heard of a problem.
I would check that the hook up is properly grounded?
Also is the unit on a separate line? If it is on a line with an appliance that draws a fair amount of current you may be getting voltage spikes from the other unit.
