Any advice on figuring out what is intermittently blowing the 16$ fuse in my Dishwasher. approximately every 2 months the internal fuse blows leaving the dishwasher full of hot water and almost clean dishes. I've replaced the fuse and it works for a while and then blows again. The only thing I've found abnormal in the dishwasher is the heating element is only giving 9 ohms of Resistance. Could that be enough to fry the fuse? I got frustrated and removed the fuse. Then the board blew. Visually inspecting the motors and valves nothing looks hot or burnt. Everything has continuity. I hate to start randomly replacing more expensive parts.
Thanks for your help |
