Model Number: DUB700XB-1 Brand: Whirlpool Age: More than 10 years
Door switch is kicking breaker everytime the door closes and the latch clicks.
Could it be only the door latch switch? Looks like it depresses two switches at the same time. Has two wires going to each switch. Four wires total. Or do I have a wire grounded somewhere else? I haven't checked the power supply underneath the unit. Thanks, Larry |

Dear f5string,
When it comes to the breaker tripping there can be a short just about anywhere. However I do know the manufacturer has made a change on that door switch requiring you to change the harness. You may take a look at that harness. CLICK HERE FOR YOUR BREAKDOWN CLICK HERE FOR DOOR SWITCH KIT
