My dishwasher will run through its cycle including the dry cycle. When it is complete there is water in the bottom of the dishwasher. If I try to drain it manually by hitting the Drain/Cancel button, the drain pump will not turn on. If I let it sit overnight and then try to drain it manually by hitting the Drain/Cancel button the drain pump turns on and drains the tub within a minute. The pump works, the drain hose and sink drain is not clogged. For some reason during the cycle the drain pump stops working and does not resume working until after the dishwasher has sat for a while (overnight).
