What is normal operation of the bottom door seal?

I have a Frigidaire dishwasher Model # FGHD2465NF1A. Recently, the dishwasher developed a leak at the bottom of the door. I read several posts and everything indicated the bottom door seal should be replaced. To be safe, I replaced the bottom door seal, the splash shield kit and the tub gasket. I also cleaned everything in the bottom of the unit to make sure there was no "gunk" interfering with the normal operation of the dishwasher. I verified the level of the dishwasher and all is fine. Before using the unit regularly, I want to make sure I have the issue resolved.
With the front door cover removed, I have ran the dishwasher through several rinse cycles. I can see some water along the front edge of the tub assembly where the bottom door seal makes contact. The water appears to come from the right corner of the unit when the spray arm is operating. I should point out, the original bottom door seal was smooth all along the edge which makes contact with the tub. The replacement bottom door seal has a notch of about 1/4 inch along this edge at the center. When the water appears, it seems to run along the front edge of the tub and then go back into the tub by way of this notch. The replacement bottom door seal is a genuine Electrolux brand seal P/N 809006501 from Appliance Parts Pros.
My question is this; is this normal operation for a Frigidaire dishwasher? Should I see a certain amount of water along the tub edge just below the door?
