Steam Leak in Top of Dishwasher
I have a just over 1 year old (of course) GE dishwasher model #PDT750SSFSS. The LCD top panel display always seemed to have a little condensation in it after the runs, figured it wasn't a big deal. Lately, there is a small amount of water collecting at the bottom right corner of the floor after each cycle, maybe like 10mL. Upon further investigation, the seal around the display has lost some integrity and I believe steam is coming up through the display area, and condensing underneath my countertop, finally dripping down onto the floor. It is soaking wet underneath the countertop above the dishwasher. It does not leak during the cycle, I think this is all drying water. Do you think the fan vent has failed? If so, how do I replace it? I don't even see a real vent on this unit anywhere so I don't actually know where the steam is supposed to vent from. Should I just re-silicone it and call it good? How can I check the operation of the vent fan.
