Hi,
I ordered a new pump gasket to repair a leak. Do I have to apply any vaseline or sealer to it. Also how tight do I have to turn the locking ring?
Any tricks to install?

Thanks

I would not use a sealer. I always put a light coating of grease/vaseline when ever I install seal/O rings.

I did get the pump on. I took out the dishwasher and worked on it in my garage. Best thing I ever did. It made it so easy. Thanks for the answer and link. I will definetly check it out..
