new here, heads up on my Bosch problem
Model Number: SHE43RF6UC/64 Brand: -brand- Age: Less than 1 year
not sure if this is the correct place for this post.
Just want to inform anyone who may have the same symptoms.
I installed this washer about 3-4 years ago and never had a problem until the other day.press power button, close door and it tripped circuit breaker.I did this 3 times and still the same thing.I opened and closed door 3 times again, hit power button closed and worked fine. One more time and poof, tripped again but this time I saw a faint flash under counter top.
I removed front door outer panel and noticed charring around the sharp edges that holds the rinse agent container in.the set of 10 wires or so aren't protected and basically swing back and forth while door is opened and closed.
Cutting into the wires.
I took pictures and contacted Bosch 5 days ago through their website.
Could have been a serious issue. No reply back yet if ever.I repaired the wires, and covered all of them with split loom and added an extra zip tie to hold up and away.
just heard back, " quote"
In regards to your inquiry, typically when a customer encounters this type of issue with any appliance we would have a technician sent out to diagnose the problem in order to determine the source, complete the repair as long as the customer agrees to the charges for out of warranty repair and leave the defective part(s) with the customer for any property damage claims. This information is also forwarded to our Safety Product Group to be advised of the incident for tracking and claim processing.
Even though you are repairing this yourself, which we do not recommend as it voids any remaining warranty on the appliance the information is being sent to our Product Safety Group
