Have an older Maytag dishwasher that generally works great except that lately it sometimes stops mid cycle. On at least several occasions, we have been able to restart it by simply opening and closing the door. Looking at the parts list, it am thinking that it is either the timer or (hopefully) the door latch assembly. Does it sound like it could be caused by the door latch assembly?
