Problem - remove the front panel from a 30x23.5-in door on a KitchenAid dw model KUDS30FXBL1 to access, repair or replace a leaky Rinse Aid (& Soap) dispenser unit mounted in the door frame.

There are 3 short (3/4-in) and 1 long (1 3/4-in) screws along the 30-in length inside each side of the door frame, roughly equally spaced from the bottom to the very top of the door (8 total screws not counting the two holding the door latching mechanism in place). Removing the lower six shorter screws allows the lower-to-middle part of the front panel to easily swing an inch or two away from the door frame -- but not the top part of the door panel. Removing the last two longer screws from the top, inside corners of the door frame allows the front panel and the dw control electronics located along the top edge of the door frame to move slightly together but nothing even close to the ease of movement in the lower-to-middle part of the panel after removing the lower six, shorter screws. Evidently the lower front door panel easily slides out a little and then lifts up from the door frame after removing the three lower screws on each side of KitchenAid dw models that have the electronic controls mounted in front rather than the top edge, like mine.

Anyone know how to remove the full door front panel on my model dw?
thanks for any feedback, robbyray
